The precision stainless steel drive shafts shown above were turned and milled at ProCam Services LLC.  These shafts feature many tolerances of +.000/-.001, an exceptionally long through hole, deep threading, an intersecting hole milled on a 45 degree angle, snap ring grooves, corresponding keyways machined exactly 180 degrees from each other, flats milled on both ends and the outer diameter turned down to 40mm +/- .001 over 17" of length.

Acetal Details Machined At ProCam Services LLC.

ProCam Services LLC. machines a variety of acetal details for its customers. Acetal is used frequently in a self lubricating bearing surfaces,  slide type applications and food grade applications. Extremely low water absorption makes this a perfect material for valves, seats and moving parts in water filled areas (many white valve parts in toilet tanks are made of Acetal).  Crisp machining and tight tolerances are easily obtainable with acetal and a variety of shapes, sizes and colors are available.

In an attempt to reduce our lead times and ultimately better serve our customers ProCam Services LLC. has added a 2nd shift to both our machine shop and our router divisions. We pride our selves in delivering most of our projects in a week or even much less but we believe that there is always room for improvement and that our customers need their projects fast. ProCam Services LLC.'s flexible and cross trained staff working on two shifts should be able to complete your project in 1-2 days or even faster!

The stainless steel water manifolds for the food industry shown above were machined in six set-ups at ProCam Services LLC.  These manifolds required some deep drilling applications and thread milling a variety of NPT threads.

The steel guide shaft shown above was manufactured for a special fixture. It was turned and milled at ProCam Services LLC. The ends and outer diameter were machined on the CNC Lathe, the guide teeth and end holes were added on the CNC Mill at ProCam Services LLC.

The aerospace components shown above were turned and milled out of A2 to tolerances of +/- .0005 and hardened to 60rc at ProCam Services LLC.

We often analyze a customers project and make suggestions to reduce cost, reduce delivery time, help overall functionality of their parts or make any other suggestions we can to help our customers. The welding fixture shown above is delivered to our customer complete and ready to use in a special kit we assemble at ProCam Services LLC....the fixture shown above consists of a dozen machined components that we machine, weld, gold plate and fully assemble at ProCam Services LLC.

The aluminum details shown above are an example of parts ProCam Services LLC. manufactured that feature Type III hard coat black anodizing. In addition to the visual appeal of adding color to the details the hard coating can achieve a hardness of up to 70 Rockwell which in turn gives the details exceptional wear resistance and durability. We have recently produced parts in black, red, blue, green, clear and we can deliver parts in other colors as well.

The 30+ part assembly shown above consists of both aluminum and stainless steel complex details was designed, machined and assembled at ProCam Services LLC. We worked with our customer to design the project in SolidWorks...we made suggestions to help design each component in a manner that made them cost effect to manufacture and easier to machine as well suggestions to help the overall functionality of the final assembly.

The aluminum impellor shown above was machined in two set-ups at ProCam Services LLC. This detail was challenging due to the exceptionally small tooling that was needed to machine the exceptionally thin and long splines on the impellor.

Stainless Steel Details Machined at ProCam Services LLC.

ProCam Services LLC. has worked exceptionally hard the past several years to master machining stainless steel details and stainless steel custom components for our customers. The stainless steel details shown above were exceptionally difficult because of the amount of material that needed to be removed and the +/- .001 flatness and thickness specifications required by our customer. Stainless steel can be exceptionally tricky to machine because it can be gummy, it can react strangely to cutting conditions and it will warp and bend when material is removed.  We pride our selves in manufacturing the difficult stainless steel projects for our customers in a timely and cost effective manner. Some of the example pictures included with this post have difficult to machine features and/or exceptionally tight tolerances.
